Within Frame is a surrealist short film I made with my younger brother, using a VHS camera and television screens to create video feedback. Our film comments on the human experience and perception through distorted views, such as through a VHS camera. The story follows a homebound ill child who sneaks out of his house to experience what it is to be alive, as his understanding of life changes forms in the lens of a VHS.
